Ferrell Haile, DPh

Ferrell is married to Kay Roberson. They have four children and five grandchildren.

Katie Chandler is married to Tim. They have 2 children, Nathan and Katherine and they live in Knoxville where Tim works for Scripps Network and Katie is home schooling.

JB Haile and his wife Shawn have 2 children, Madison and Hudson. They live in Nashville where JB is a home builder and co owner of Carbine and Associates. Shawn works in public relations with charitable organizations.

Daniel Haile and his wife Mallory had their first child, Audrey in Dec 2010. They recently moved from Texas to Spring Hill, Tn. Both have their masters in counseling. Daniel is a Marriage and Family Counselor and Mallory is a school psychologist.

Melody is a graduate of Lipscomb University, living in Nashville and is a Certified Pharmacy Tech. She plans to marry in March 2011 to Wes Harvey.

Ferrell was born in Gallatin to parents Marion and Mattie Haile. Ferrell graduated from Gallatin High School in 1965, serving as president of his high school class. He attended Lipscomb University for two years before attending The University of Tennessee Pharmacy School in Memphis, graduating in 1970.

He returned to Gallatin following graduation to begin practice and in 1971 began a life time of ownership of independent pharmacies. Ferrell became a partner with Sam Rickman in Perkins Drugs in 1988. He is a member of several professional associations including Tennessee Pharmacist Association and NCPA. He serves as board member of American Pharmacist Cooperative, Inc (APCI), a regional association of 1300 independent pharmacies in 22 states.

Ferrell and Kay are members of the Station Camp Church of Christ where Ferrell serves as Shepherd and Bible teacher. He serves on the Board of Directors of World Christian Broadcasting; an organization dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus through short wave radio to parts of the world that are not receptive to missionaries.

Ferrell has been active in the Gallatin community for many years, beginning as a Boy Scout of Troup 407 where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a current member of the Morning Rotary Club. He has served as president of both the noon club and the morning club. He is a member of the board of Christian Towers of Gallatin, Chairman of the board of Southeast Community Fire Department, board member of the Health Department and appointed by the county commission to serve as State Senator in the 107th General Assembly.

Ferrell and Kay live on the family farm on Cairo Road, where they raised children and beef cattle.
